Challenge #220 All Boxed Up

The tangle this week is by Alice Hendon which you can find HERE. This is a great tangle to show the power of shading. I like-mono tangles so that is what I did, Before and after shading.

I have not tangled in a bit and you can tell by the shaky lines. I will get back on board soon.

  3. I think I'm a group of one here, but I think this was a difficult tangle to draw well. Despite feeling shaky, you did such a good job with this challenge that I can even easily see the patterns in the unshaded tile.

  8. Debra, They both look great, I love the second one. Guess what, I haven't done too much tangling since Tangle U. Not enough hours in my days lately.

  11. I too find it difficult to draw the straight lines in perpendicular directions. Not sure it was "legal" but I chose to first draw the horizontal lines, then turn the piece 90 degrees and complete the "U" shape. By the way, your piece doesn't look shaky. I really like it.

  12. Love the way the shading came out on this. Taking the two pictures really illustrates how a little shading can dramatically change a tile. Nice work.

  13. WOW, to start with I thought it was two different tiles. It's amazing what the shading brought out in the tile, great work.
